Irish Aid Fellowship Training Programme - Key Dates

Annual Course listing / Application Forms available - end of September

Application forms and a reference file 'Postgraduate Courses Appropriate for Irish Aid Fellowship Training Programme Awards' are made available through Irish Embassies in programme countries by the end of September of each year.

Closing date for Fellowship applications - end of December

Fellowship applications are required by 31st December for courses to begin the following academic year (e.g. application will be required by 31st December 2010 for studies to begin in September 2011).

A candidate applying for the Fellowship Training Programme is expected to have already identitified an appropriate course at the time of submitting. ยป More

Notification to successful Fellowship applicants - July

If applicants have secured a place on their chosen course and are approved for funding through the Irish Aid Fellowship Training Programme they will receive a letter of notification and information pack asking that they confirm acceptance. These letters are sent in July.

Arrival in Ireland - September

Following acceptance, ICOS will liaise with a student over all practical arrangements, such as flights and accomodation, to enable them to take up their place in September. Introductory events and support are organised by ICOS for new study fellows at this time.
