30/8/11 - A total of 42 applicants will be taking up scholarships through the Irish Aid Fellowship Training Programme from the 2011-12 competition. The awards are distributed amongst Irish Aid's partner countries to support ongoing development efforts.
23 Study Fellows will commence studies in a broad range of progammes in Ireland this September:

- MA in Child, Family and Community Studies, DIT (1)
- MA in Development Studies, KDSC (1)
- MA in Education, UCD (1)
- MA in Gender, Globalisation and Rights, NUIG (1)
- Master in Education - Foundation Studies, TCD (3)
- Master of Public Advocacy and Activism, NUIG (1)
- Master of Public Health (MPH), UCD (2)
- Masters in Public Health, UCC (1)
- MPhil International Peace Studies, ISE/TCD (1)
- MSc (Agr) in Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development, UCD (2)
- MSc in Applied Science (Food Microbiology), UCC (1)
- MSc in Engineering (Environmental), TCD (1)
- MSc in Environment and Development, TCD (2)MSc in Human Resource Management, DCU (1)
- MSocSc in Social Policy, UCC (2)
The remaining 19 candidates were awarded Fellowships to study in institutions in Africa; an element of the programme which continues to grow.
