Dublin forum to give voice to international students
International students in the Dublin area are invited to attend an evening forum on Monday 25th January that will give a unique opportunity to discuss experiences and issues of studying in the capital. In addition to themed workshops, the event will also feature an address from the Lord Mayor and an ICOS speaker on proposed changes to student immigration.
The forum runs from 6-8pm in the city centre and is organised by Union of Students in Ireland (USI). Attendance is free but pre-registration is required by 12 noon Friday 22nd January. To do so contact Linda Kelly, USI Equality Officer, at equality@usi.ie with details of your name and college.
The event represents the second in a series of forums on which USI and ICOS are collaborating, following a successful event in Cork in November. Students in the West of Ireland should stay tuned for details of a similar event locally in the coming weeks.
